Eunice Cameron


Eunice has an extensive background in education, as well as previously having been a Registered Nurse. Eunice has worked in a number of different schools in Regina before becoming Principal at Cornwall in 1997. She came out of retirement in 2019 to return to her role.

Gil Will

Vice Principal/

Grade 10 Teacher

Gil started working at Cornwall in 1998 and is passionate about supporting both students and their families while they attend our school. Despite the time spent at Cornwall, Gil feels that thanks to his students, the adage "Do a job you love and you won't work a day in your life" still holds true for him.

Julie Noble-Safinuk

Executive Assistant

Julie began working at Cornwall in December 2019. Julie is our financial administrator who assists in maintaining the budget, completing payroll, as well as a number of other tasks. 

Joe Eklund

Grade 7/8 Teacher

Joe has a Bachelor in Education, is a certified life coach and has worked at Cornwall for 23 years. Before working at Cornwall, Joe worked in the Regina Public system for 3 years as a teacher and also worked at SIAST teaching Aboriginal life skills. Joe is passionate about working with at-risk youth and is a proud father and grandfather. 

Hilarie Winslow

Grade 8/9 Teacher

Hilarie started teaching at Cornwall at the beginning of 2010. Prior to joining the team, she spent multiple years as a Learning Resource Teacher and in Special Education. Hilarie loves playing and coaching soccer, caring for animals, and traveling.

Jaimie Deobald

Grade 9 Teacher

Jaimie began teaching at Cornwall in 2012.  Most recently she has completed a Masters of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Regina in 2018.  She believes students learn best by doing and tries to provide interactive experiences as often as possible.  Jaimie loves travelling, board games, and spending time with family and friends.  

Cheryl McCreary


Cheryl started working at Cornwall in August 2008. She previously worked in the position of Outreach Worker before moving to the Counselling team in 2015. Cheryl's background is in social work and she is currently working towards her Master's in Educational Psychology.

Jaime (Jay)  Kayseas


Jaime started working at Cornwall in 2020.  He graduated from the First Nations University in 2017 with a degree in Indigenous Social Work.  He had been working as a youth mental health worker in Northern BC prior to his move back to Regina.

Rob Nixon

Outreach Worker

Rob began working at Cornwall in 2010. Rob previously served as the Boys Counsellor for a number of years before moving to the Outreach Worker position. Rob has worked with at-risk youth and in the justice system for 30 years and is an avid Montreal Canadiens fan.

Nutritional Coordinator

Arlene is our Nutritional Coordinator and has worked at Cornwall since 2013. She is in the kitchen every day providing delicious, nutritious meals for our students. Arlene has plenty of life experience and is a grandmother figure for our students. 

Marcelino Bote


Marcelino, or 'Mar' as we know him, began working at Cornwall in 2018. Mar works very hard to keep our school clean and undertakes a number of projects to help upgrade and maintain our facility.

Jordon Watson

Addictions Services Worker (SHA)

Jordon currently works with the Saskatchewan Health Authority as an Addictions Counsellor. Jordon has a background in social work. He currently attends Cornwall on a weekly basis to provide education and support to students in regards to substance use. 

Rick Cardinal


Rick is a former employee of Cornwall Alternative School where he previously worked as the Boys Counsellor. Rick remains connected to the school and attends regularly to provide all of our students with the opportunity for traditional teachings, smudging and tipi building, among other activities.
